I hate surprises. I am one of those people who snoops around at Christmas and my birthday to try and find my presents. If I am unsuccessful at that, I go directly to Abbey and try to bribe it out of her. I know boring right? Not only do I hate surprises but I am also a self-admitted whimp. Hence the reason why it is 4:00 a.m. and I am blogging instead of sleeping. Why...because at 7:30 I have to be at the hospital for an external cephalic version. In other words, this little man growing inside me is breech and they are going to try and "flip" him and get him head down. Am I terrified...YES!
There are so many maybes and it has made me extremely uneasy. They do it in labor and delivery so they can monitor me and the little man the whole time. I have to fast and they put an IV in just in case something goes wrong and they have to do an emergency c-section. There is also a chance it may not work at all and all the pain, hunger, and lack of sleep last night will be for nothing. To me that is the worst case scernario. I have contractions here and there but sadly they are not doing much to get me ready to go into true labor because without his head down there is no pressure to dilate me. I have never gone past 37 weeks so to me (an impatient whimp) I feel like I am at the end and the baby should be here any day. Ridiculous I know but that's how I roll. If they can't get the little man to flip then I will most likely have a c-section at 39 weeks. Yikes.
This little man is going to complete our little family so I really am trying to enjoy these last few hours/days/weeks of being pregnant and having a baby growing inside me. I feel so blessed to be a mother and to have a body that allows me to carry these precious children. All the complaining aside, it is truly a miracle and I know I will miss feeling the little kicks and watching my stomach ripple!
I am also trying to soak up my current "baby" Luke. He is my stubborn little boy but I love him to pieces. His new thing is to say, "Mommy guess what...I love you!" He will do this over and over and over and over. I love it! Tonight we snuggled on the chair in his room, sang his favorite songs (Cougar fight song and Bruin fight song...no question where our loyalty is), and said prayers. I tried to savor every minute just in case it was his last night as my baby!
Brady and Easton are all the sudden so big and independent. They are such good boys and I love watching them grown and learn new things! Today they watched Thomas the Train and for the rest of the day tried to convince me that we had to name the baby Thomas, Percy, Gordon, or Henry. They say those are the only names they like. Awesome! They are such good big brothers and for the most part are really good to Luke. They are so excited to meet their new baby brother! I think they have a little of my impatience because they ask me every day when he is going to come out! I wish I knew!
Ryan set an alarm on his phone with a list of names he likes and tonight it went off! We actually talked about it without disagreeing or arguing :) It was a great night! I think we have it narrowed down to 3 names but we will see. For me, naming a baby is so much easier once you see them so I am hoping it will be quick once he is here.
Ry just woke up to go to the gym (yes he is crazy) so I will wrap up this addition of ramblings of a pregnant woman! This is why I have taken a blogging hiatus! I am not sure what I am hoping will happen this morning but I hope that my little man is healthy and safe...that is the most important thing! Whether it be today, tomorrow, or in 3 more weeks, I can't wait to meet him and kiss his little face! Because really, who doesn't want more babies that look like these ones?!?!

Changing Seasons...
A few weeks ago we had enough snow to actually put our snow gear to use. The boys loved it!
They even made a snowman!
Easton Gary
Brady Trace (silly boy)
Cute brothers
Geoff had a birthday and we got to celebrate in style! Aleena planned a Casino Night and it was a BLAST! Love this guy to death and so glad we get to spend precious time with his little family.
We are clearly soaking up the cousin time while it lasts.
These kids LOVE each other A LOT! Grandma Joeen took them to Aria's soccer game the other night. We spend most days at Grandma and Grandpa's house riding wiggle cars, playing house, eating, and hanging out.
Silly boys
Fearsome Foursome
Sweet baby Emma was blessed last Sunday! Tyler did a great job and we are thrilled we got to share in her special day. She is now in the hospital with RSV and we are praying for a quick recovery. I adore this little girl and every time I see her it makes me more excited to meet my little guy!
We are looking forward to SPRINGTIME and are loving every minute of this beautiful weather! I am most excited that this pregnancy is coming to an end and we will get to meet this little guy soon. We still have no name and I am having a hard time coming up with anything I love. Keep sending ideas our way!

Update...
So I have turned into the worst blogger. I officially hate the month of January and am so glad it's over. It drags so much and there is nothing to look forward to. We have been doing a whole lot of nothing around here!
The most exciting thing as of late is that Renee had her precious little baby girl Emma Renee on February 6. To say that I am in love with her would be a complete understatement.
She is so perfect and precious and I wish I could snuggle her every day. It makes me so excited to meet our little man in a few short months. Speaking of...if you have any good boy name suggestions please send them our way. We are struggling as always to agree on one. I like short and simple names that are not extremely popular. Good luck!
We have been enjoying Grandma Great's hot tub as well. The boys love to swim and think this is a great way to spend the winter months!

I have been trying to come up with activities for the boys on Tuesday and Thursday because they don't have preschool and the days drag on and on. We have been going to story time at the library on Tuesdays and to the "jumping place" on Thursdays. The boys love both activities and it has really helped keep them and me happy! If anyone wants to join us they are welcome! We love friends!
Ryan worked his last day at his job today and will be starting a new one on Monday. It is a great opportunity and besides the commute, we are thrilled about it!
I am still pregnant and feeling huge. I am trying to enjoy every minute of it since it is most likely (or as Ryan says most definitely) my last.
We are excited to have Geoff's family move to Utah for a few months before their new adventure in California and are so glad we have something to look forward to!

Toothless Grin
This morning I was having a conversation with Brady and noticed something different. I looked closer and realized his tooth was gone.
I asked him if he had lost a tooth and he told me, "yes, a long time ago." I brushed his teeth last night and they were all there so I know that isn't true. We looked everywhere for it and can't find it. I guess he swallowed it. Oops. He is very concerned that the Tooth Fairy won't come if he doesn't have it but I assured him it would be fine! I checked Easton's mouth and lo and behold he has a loose tooth too. I can't believe they are old enough to be loosing teeth. It kind of makes me sad!
After Christmas Fun
We decided to take the kids bowling after Christmas! They all loved it and I found it highly entertaining.
My dad really tried to teach Brady and Easton the technical way to bowl but they would just not have it. I thought it was hilarious to watch the whole thing play out!
Silly boys
Love these 2 (even though Luke looks drunk)
We loved having Chad home for a couple of weeks! He is such a great uncle and the kids adore him.
Ryan's family came to town and stayed with us for a few days but since I am dependent on my mom to take all my pictures, I don't have any proof of that cousin time. It was a great Christmas break. We are getting back into the swing of normal life. My belly is growing larger by the minute and we are getting anxious to meet our next (and final) little boy! Now if we can only decide on a name and figure out if he too will have red hair. My guess would be yes! I just wish we didn't have to wait til May to find out! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!
Christmas Morning
My family convinced Ryan and I to spend the night at my parent's house because it would be "no fun with just Chad and Kelsey!" At 9:00 on Christmas Eve we headed to our house and loaded up the presents. It ended up to be a blessing in the end because we had not wrapped 1 thing and had stuff to put together as well. With the help of everyone we got it done and got to bed about 12:30.
My kids slept til 7:30 and we thought that was great! It was an exciting morning and the boys loved it! Sadly I was counting on my mom to take all the pictures and she failed me. We only have a few. It was a very fun year and we were all spoiled!

We headed home and got ready for church and enjoyed going to my parent's ward with them. We spent the evening with my family doing puzzles and playing games. I love Christmas and can't wait til next year when we will have our new little boy to share in the excitement!!
