Worth Watching

I stole this from my friend Jaime but it is so neat I thought I would share it. I bawled my eyes out so good luck keep a dry eye. Make sure you pause my music at the bottom so you can hear the song playing on the slideshow.
We love you President Hinckley!

What A Night

It all started when Easton fell down the stairs this afternoon. Both of the boys are pretty good about turning around and sliding backwards but I guess that today he thought he could walk down?!? It was down hill from there for poor Easton. Tonight I was upstairs and Ryan started yelling for me. I came running downstairs to Easton bleeding from his mouth. He was walking around with his sippy cup, the kind with the straw, he is still a little unsteady on his feet and he fell and sliced the inside of his lip open. Poor kid. I was freaking out because of course I thought it needed stitches and he was crying so hard. We got the bleeding stopped and calmed him down and he was okay. He has fallen two more times since then and split that same spot open and it has started to bleed each time.

I keep telling Ryan the poor kid is going to have brain damage cause when he falls he doesn't try to catch himself with his hands, he falls straight on his head. He has bruises all across his forehead. Seriously I don't know what I am going to do with him.

Brady has been in trouble today for hitting his brother so he has spent a lot of time in time out. It doesn't work very well because every time I put him in the corner Easton runs over and sits next to him. Ryan says it is the cutest thing he has ever seen. I ran over and took this picture of them in the corner tonight (this is the 4th time he has done it today). So much for a punishment.

Shoes We Love...

My friend Whitney introduced us to these shoes. The website is chinadirectstore.com. Click on "squeeky shoes for children". This website has squeeky shoes for a great price. If you don't like the squeeker you can take it out and they are still great shoes. We have loved these and the boys wear them all the time. We got 2 pairs and 1 ended up being too small and the company has been great to work with and is letting me send them back and get the ones I want. If you are in the market for new shoes for your kids I would highly reommend these ones.

In Loving Memory...

I am still having a hard time believing the sad news my mom called me with a few hours ago. I don't know if it will really sink in until we watch April conference and he is not there. I am feeling very sad tonight. President Hinckley was an amazing man and left behind a wonderful legacy. I feel like he has been the prophet my whole life, at least as long as I have been old enough to remember. He did so many wonderful things for The Church. I know that a wonderful reunion is going on in Heaven right now, not only with his wife but with so many who are grateful for all that he has done. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Leaving on a Jet Plane...

So I am just getting ready to go to the airport. I am getting a little sad. This sounds so dumb but I swear my kids know I am leaving. Easton woke up earlier than usual so I just went and got him and put him in bed with me. Usually he is all restless and just wants to get up but this morning he just layed there with me and fell asleep. Brady woke up and has been so sweet. He keeps wanting me to pick him up and then he hugs me and pats my back. Seriously, it is 2 days, why am I so sad. AHHHHH!!!!

Okay well now that I am crying I am going to go finish getting ready. I have lots of fun plans while I am in Utah so I know I will have fun and be fine as soon as I get there. I will post pics later! I hope you are doing something fun this weekend too!

A Little Nervous...

So in case you didn't know...I am headed to Utah on Thursday afternoon ALONE. Yes, you read right, ALONE. I am leaving my kids behind and flying there Thursday and will be back on Saturday night. I have a work thing I have to go to so that is the reason for the quick visit. I have been so excited since I bought my ticket because I have really felt like it was time for a break. As it is getting closer I am starting to feel a little nervous. I know I am crazy but the longest I have ever been away from my kids is 2 days and that was when Ryan and I came to Vegas to look for somewhere to live. The other day I was almost trying to get Ryan to tell me that it wasn't going to work for me to go and I needed to cancel my ticket but he didn't and I am glad. Ryan is going to have the kids most of the time with the help of my wonderful sister-n-law Aleena while he is at school.

I am looking forward to hanging out with my sisters and relaxing. My best friend also had a baby in November and even though I have been to Utah twice I have hardly seen her because my kids were sick both times. I am excited to hang out with Whit and hold Saylor. I am going to miss my kids (who wouldn't miss those kids) but I am excited for a little break!

FINALLY!!!!!!

So Easton has been a little slow getting up the courage to let go of the furniture/wall and walk. He has been taking a few steps the last few days and we have been so excited. We just got the boys out of the bath and brought them downstairs. Ryan stood Easton up and he just started walking! It was like he all of the sudden decided he could do it. It has kind of been sad when Brady is walking around playing with all the kids and Easton just stands there. We are glad he can now join in the fun and play! Ryan says tomorrow his exercise program starts!

Our Morning Walks...

Easton, Brady, Trenton, Jaxon, Sammie, Bailee, Anna, and Hannah.
We love our morning walks with our friends! It gives me something to look forward to every day. We are so lucky that the weather is good enough here that we can bundle up the kids and go. We go on walks most mornings but on Mondays and Wednesdays we go to exercise group at the church where the kids run around the cultural hall while the mommies try to get in some exercise. It is so fun to have something to look forward to every morning to get us going. This is what we usually look like and sometimes there are more!

Sick AGAIN...

If you are wondering where I have been let me just tell you. I have been cleaning up throw up, washing sheets, washing pj's, changing poopy diapers, giving countless baths in a day and buying Pedialyte. Yep you guessed it, Brady has a horrible case of the flu. Poor kid has been so sick he can't even keep down the Pedialyte. It started Thursday and we thought he was better yesterday (we even went out to eat) but today he is even worse. We are seriously contemplating driving to St. George to go to the InstaCare because I am a little nervous he is dehydrated.

Anyway, our lives really have not been too exciting so I probably would have nothing to blog about but at least I have a good excuse for being MIA for a while. Maybe this week I will have something fun to blog about! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend more than I am :)

Gavin Dane Hill!

Happy Birthday to the sweetest 6 year old I have ever met. Gavin is a wonderful, smart and funny little boy whom I adore. He is a great cousin and so helpful with my kids whenever he is around. He always tells me, "Sarah your twins are so adorable." Gavin I hope you have a wonderful day and we are so excited you are moving closer to us soon!

Party Time!

On Saturday we went to a birthday party for Brady and Easton's friend William. It was at Gymboree and it was so much fun! They boys loved playing with their friends and were much more into it than the last time we went. It was also fun for Ryan and I to catch up with some friends we hadn't seen in a while. I pulled out my camera at the last minute and didn't even get a picture of the Birthday Boy but here a few I did get. Brady loved playing on the mats!Easton spent most of the time popping the bubbles. He was loving it!This is our friends adorable daughter Kenadee. I hope my little girls look like her!

Later that night we went to dinner with some other friends and then went and played games! It was a wonderful evening filled with good friends, good food and laughter!

A Little Bit More!

I had to work Christmas morning at 7:00 a.m. My family was so nice and let me wake them all up at 5:45 so we could start opening presents and be done in time for me to start working.

This is the only picture I have over Christmas of our little family. It is when we were walking up the stairs to see what Santa brought us. My kids were most excited about their new chairs and loved sitting in them. I felt bad that I had to wake them up so early and Easton was just not being himself. He was on fire and quickly fell asleep.

We opened all our presents and had a wonderful time. Ryan got me an ipod and went way over our budget but I love it and I am grateful he did it. I got Ryan a new pair of running shoes, not as exciting but very necessary! When we walked up the stairs this is what we saw standing there with Abbey's stocking. My mom is so funny...she saw it at the store and said she had to have it for Abbey. It stood there the entire week and every time I turned the corner it freaked me out cause it looked like a real
person. I worked and Ryan took the boys over to see his family. When he got home Easton was still on fire and just wanted to be held. We took his temperature and it was 102. We took a nap on the couch together. The rest of the day we just hung out and relaxed. Ryan ended up taking Eason to the doctor that night and he had a double ear infection, he was so miserable and we just could not break the fever.

We played the Wii and Kelsey, my mom and I were boxing. It was so funny but my mom won! I was rolling on the floor laughig...too bad my dad slep through it all. We had a wonderful Christmas and a great time in Utah but we are grateful to be home safely and back on a schedule!

Merry Christmas--Finally

Okay as I said, we had a fabulous time in Utah spending time with family and friends. My kids got sick, as they do every time we go, so that made it a little challenging but it was stil fun!

Ryan loved going to the game and spending time with his brothers and cousins. In fact, there was a little problem and they all ended up sleeping at our house. I guess there were 7 or 8 men sprawled all over our floors after the game. I am glad we weren't here for that!

We were so happy to be there to celebrate my mom's birthday and cheer the Cougars to victory! We spent Christmas Eve with Ryan's family and had so much fun! Ryan's dad always reads "Twas The Night Before Christmas" and he does it so well. All the kids gathered around to hear Grandpa Gary.

After that we went over to my parent's house for a sleepover. Renee and I had bought all the kids matching jammies...they looked so cute!My mom and dad gave the three kids these little trikes. They loved them so much and when we took them away they were all crying and throwing fits. They were a hit. Just call them Heaven's Angels.Okay I have just a few more things from Christmas morning but I will leave them for tomorrow. My kids just went down and I have got to go work. Sorry for the picture overload, it should make up for lost time!

I AM A BLOG SLACKER :(

I am so sorry I have not updated my blog in FOREVER. This usually happens when I go to Utah but this time has been particularly bad. Renee called and got mad at me today so I promise I will be better. Tomorrow I will post all our pictures from Christmas and the fun time we had in Utah! Thank you to all of our family (Hill's and McGiven's) and my special friends for making it a fun trip! We love you all and are so lucky to have you in our lives. I have been doing laundry, trying to work and get my kids back on a schedule today but look for a new and exciting post tomorrow! Happy New Year!
