McGiven Family Reunion

After the 4th we had a McGiven family reunion. To keep down on cost, we decided to stay in Provo and have everyone gather here. It turned out better than I expected and we loved spending time with everyone!

On Sunday night we all gathered at Grandma White's for a baby blessing, dinner, and fireworks!
BradyGrandma Sue and LukeGarrett and BeauPeyton and MckellBroox and KJOn Monday we had an appetizer competition. It was so fun! Ryan's family is intense and everyone (except for me) put a lot of time and effort into the dishes. It was all good fun! We ended up taking second! HA HA! On Tuesday we went to a park and played on the slip'n slide...played a relay gameand played kickballOn Wednesday we watched Swiss Family Robinson outsideand set up tents for the family campout in the yardOn Thursday we had closing ceremonies. The kids each got an award from their Grandma and Grandpa! We had a talent show that Kevin and Lindsay's family won outright! They were hilarious! (this picture is a little blurry but so funny)To finish off the night we had karaoke which was a blast! It was a huge success! We especially loved seeing the people who live far away and we don't get to see very often! Can't wait to see everyone again!

Great post I need to steal some pics too. I didn't take any pictures because I was a single mom all week. I thought it turned out better than expected too. Now that we've done it we know better what works and what doesn't. I'm looking forward to 2012.

That was fun! I have a ton of pictures, but Mr. perfection is trying to make it into a DVD with music. He has been trying to time the music to each picture for a few weeks now (yes, I said weeks). Hopefully it will be done soon, and I will send one to everyone!
