We have had a great weekend! Yesterday we were able to go to an Easter Egg Hunt with our ward and it was great! They had it divided out by age and my kids hit the jackpot. We came home with a ton of candy. They all loved it, including Luke.
If you don't know, my kids are terrified of characters. They won't go near them and they cry every time they see them. Yesterday Easton decided to conquer his fear and Brady followed. I was shocked when they walked up, gave the Easter Bunny a high five, and posed for a picture with him. Luke still wouldn't go anywhere near him.
The Easter Bunny came and was very good to the boys this year.
We start T-ball in a few weeks so the boys got a mit. Easton was thrilled that his already had his name on his (thanks to the brand)! We quickly wrote Brady's on his with a sharpie.
Then we woke up Luke and let him join in the fun!
He would not move from his new chair so all our pictures revolved around that!
We have not forgotten what Easter is really about. We are so grateful for our Savior. "He is not here for he is risen!"
