We went back to the hotel so we could all take a nap and get ready for the BYU game. When they woke up we got them in their Y shirts and went over to the Honda Center. It was kind of a nightmare at first because they were so unorganized. The parking was a joke and then we had to stand outside in the sun on the pavement for 1 hour while they cleared the whole place out. Brady and Easton were not happy and I was so frustrated. As soon as we got in and the game started they were really good and loved watching the ball. BYU was pathetic at first but were able to kind of pull it together and make it a pretty good game. They ended up loosing which was sad :( I was so annoyed that I forgot to get a picture at the game. Oops!

Disneyland Day 2
Brady and Easton woke up bright and early on Thursday morning, lucky us! We got ready and headed to the park right when it opened.
As soon as we walked in the gate we saw Pluto so we went and got our picture taken with him!
It was so nice because the lines were really short and we were able to walk right onto a lot of them. We even took them on the Haunted Mansion ride and the only time they cried was at the very beginning when this girl screamed right in their ear.

We grabbed some dinner and had plans to head back over to the park for the electric parade. Ryan and I started getting ready but then decided we were way to exhausted. We just hung out at our hotel and let the kids run around and play instead.
We had another fun, exhausting day!

Happy Easter!
We have had a wonderful Easter together as a family! We had a visit from the Easter bunny! He came and left Brady and Easton a few surprises. I filled some eggs with jelly beans (which they love) and their favorite thing was just to shake them and make noise. They were so excited to see what they got! We got them these bear backpacks that are a leash for Disneyland this weekend...now they can be like River!
We got the boys all ready in their Easter outfits and headed off to church. It was a big day at church for us because Brady and Easton went to nursery for the first time. They are 2 weeks shy of 18 months but we decided we would take them to get them used to it. All these kids were in there crying so I was a little nervous. We took them in and they started to play with the toys and didn't even look at us. We stood at the back of the room for about 5 minutes and they never even glanced in our direction. We asked the leaders if we could leave them and they said yes. I went and checked on them after sunday school and they gave us the thumbs up. When we went to pick them up they told us they were really good. I guess Brady would go in the corner every once in a while and get sad for a few seconds and instead of coloring a picture they ate the crayons, but other than that they did great. It was so nice for us to be able to go to church again! Here are a few pictures of Brady and Easton in their Easter outfits! They were not cooperating for me so I did the best I could. I really needed my mom :)

We had a quiet evening at home together as a family. The boys played in the laundry basket and with their eggs. The picture is cool cause Easton had just thrown the egg.
We had yummy food from the Honey Baked Ham store for dinner. Now the boys are in bed and we are relaxing. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter too!

Disneyland Day 1
We had such a great time in California! My confession is this...we were not too good about taking pictures. I just kept forgetting and it was such a hassle plus the boys would not cooperate for pictures. We did not even do the classics in front of the castle or in the front of Disneyland. We are going back this weekend and will be better because we will be with Whit and she can help me out. Anyway, here is a recap of our first day at Disneyland!
We left Wednesday morning and got to our hotel around 2:00. We checked in and dropped our stuff and headed to Disneyland. The parade was about to start just as we got there so we thought it would be a great time to hit up some rides. We went to Fantasyland and rode a few of the rides there.
I was mostly worried about standing in line but the boys were so good. They just played with the chains and the fences and loved the attention they were getting. I think they were entertaining everyone around us too! We could hear all the comments about the "red-headed twins" and as people would get closer they would tell us how beautiful they were! The boys were so fascinated on the rides. They just sat there wide eyed trying to take it all in. I was worried they would cry on the scary parts but they never did, not once.
We went to Toon Town and let them run around to burn some energy!

After that we watched the parade. Before the parade started they had the "grand marshall" who won a night stay in the "fantasy suite." It was this little 6 year old boy who had the biggest smile on his face I have ever seen. I started to cry. I know that my kids are too little to understand where we were or what we were doing but it was so fun to be there with them. I was thinking back to all the fun memories I had in this magical place and I was so choked up. I decided right there that this trip was worth it because even though they will not remember it, Ryan and I will. The parade was so well done and my kids absolutely loved it. We were on the very front row and they got so much attention. As all the characters went by they would come up to Brady and Easton and blow them kisses and stuff. It was so much fun!
We decided we were going to stay in the park as long as they were being good. We went on a few more rides and then decided to go on Pirates of the Carribean. They were having fun and loving it one minute and the next minute Brady was passed out on Ryan's lap. We knew we were done and we had worn them out. We headed back to our hotel and all went to bed exhausted. It was such a fun first day and Ryan and I were so excited for the days to come!

Disneyland Here We Come...
If you are reading the title of this post and wondering why I have never mentioned going to Disneyland on my blog before it is because we planned this trip today. I am not kidding. On Sunday when we found out BYU would be playing in Anaheim I said to Ryan, "let's go!" I was sort of kidding but here we are 2 days later...we have tickets to the game, a hotel, and tickets to Disneyland! Those of you who know me know that I am not big on spur of the moment decisions, this is all Ryan. It is better this way though. Now I won't go out and spend tons of money getting ready to go because I don't have time and we will just have to get by with what we have. We will be back late Friday night. Hopefully it will go well, it could be quite the adventure. If all goes well we will be going back to Disneyland next weekend to meet up with my friend Whitney and her family (I will explain it all later) In the meantime, hope you are all having a great week!
Oh yeah...GO COUGARS!

Headbangers Ball
Last night Ryan was hanging out with the kids while I was working. He started yelling for me to come downstairs and this is what I found. Easton started doing it after I took this video. Now when they hear music they start headbanging. They crack me up! I never know what Ryan is teaching them while I am working.
Happy Birthday Geoff!
Happy Birthday to my brother Geoff. I have so many memories with Goeff and loved growing up so close. Geoff was the one who taught me to drive (I almost killed us both) and the one that always kept me laughing (and crying). It is thanks to him that Ryan and I are married and that we moved to Nevada! He is a wonderful brother, friend, and a fabulous father to his darling little girls! I hope you have a wonderful birthday Geoff! We love you!
