We Made It!!!
Thanks to these two things our flight was a success!
We were able to take a whole row and stick Brady and Easton between us. We put the lap top on the tray and turned on Barney. The flight attendant gave them each apple juice with a straw and some pretzels. They were thrilled! They did not like it at all when we had to turn off the lap top but we whipped out their doodle pros and they played with them until we landed. It was a very successful flight!
I am so happy to be in Utah! The weather is perfect and the mountains are beautiful! I love Utah in the fall! I was able to spend the afternoon with my sisters and now Ryan is golfing with his best friend. Tonight we will be going to watch Kelsey cheer at the homecoming game! Ryan has tickets to the BYU vs. UCLA game tomorrow and then we will be sending Kelsey off to homecoming tomorrow night! Exciting times!

Leaving on a Jet Plane!
We are so excited!!! On Friday morning bright and early we will be boarding this...
and flying here.
We decided we were sick of driving back and forth and putting all the miles on our car and it was actually cheaper to fly. Brady and Easton are coming up on their 2nd birthday so we decided to take advantage of them flying free while we still can.
I am getting a little nervous. I realize that this flight is only 1 hour and 15 minutes but believe me, that is a long time for my 2 kids to sit still. The only thing I have to compare it to is sacrament meeting and my kids are awful there so I am kind of in panic mode. They are not easily entertained unless they are running back and forth between here and there. I know a lot of you have flown with small children hundreds of times but this is our first so any suggestions would be appreciated.
We will be in Utah for the next couple of weeks (at least the boys and I will be). We have a lot of fun things planned so I will keep my blog updated with all the fun! We hope to see a lot of you while we are there!
Thanks and wish us luck!

Past Due...
Sorry about the lack of posts...we have been very busy!
Last week we went to this place called Bonnie Springs with our friends. The most exciting part was the fact that they had a petting zoo. I actually thought it was disguisting but the boys loved it! Here are some pictures from our fun day!
My kids were being so serious and Scottee was being hilarious every time we took a picture so this is the best we got! Kind of funny!
Brady and Easton!
Ryan thinks he is funny!
In jail
What were they so scared of???
These disguisting things that were not in cages and kept running by us. Seriously, I was terrified.
Ryan fed the animals and the boys watched...Scottee actually fed them too, if only you could see her face!
The boys walked around saying "animals, animals" the whole time we were there. There was actually a wolf in the cage which is why Ryan was a little concerned about their fingers!
It was overall a very fun day!

Nie Nie Day!
It is very likely that you have already heard about the plane crash Stephanie (Nie) and her husband Christian were in leaving them with burns on 80% and 30% of their bodies. If you haven't, you can read what happened to the them on her sister's site: http://cjanerun.com and get an update on their current status. Make sure you grab a box of tissues first.
Nie is amazing. I have been captivated by her blog the last week reading her posts with pure enjoyment. She has an amazing outlook on life and seems to have a perfect balance between motherhood, being a wife, being a homemaker, and finding time to simply enjoy life. Read her blog HERE.
Her family is amazing as well. The 4 children are being cared for by loving family members at this trying time. They have such a wonderful perspective on this trial and are strengthened by their testimonies of the Gospel.
Both Nie and Christian are currently being kept in a coma while they have surgery after surgery. Their medical bills are anticipated to be in the millions. Tomorrow, while they are sleeping and their bodies slowly recover, people all over the world are joining hands and are trying to raise money to help pay for the medical bills as well as their household management.
Thursday August 28 has been declared Nie Nie day by Design Mom. People all over the world will be hosting silent auctions on their blogs and will donate 100% of the money to the Nielsen Family Fund. You can read all about it HERE.
If you are interested in donating money I have put a link on the side of my blog. At first I felt overwhelmed thinking that I should not even bother donating because the money I have to give could not even make a dent in their bills. Then I thought if everyone who heard their story donated $25.00, or some small amount, it would really add up. I hope this story touches you the way it has touched me and you will want to donate to their cause.
