RECAP

I have been the worst blogger lately which is so not like me. We have a lot of big events coming up so I thought I better give a quick update so I don't get too far behind.

We had a wonderful Easter this year. It was stake conference and we attempted it though I spent most of the time in the hall. At least the boys looked cute! It is so nice to have my sisters around who are so good to my kids. They have been so helpful and my kids love them! One day I was working and I could hear my kids laughing. I came downstairs and found Abbey tracing my kids and letting them color it. They were so excited and so happy! A couple of weeks ago my good friend Kara and I took our kids to the park. It was so fun to catch up with her and let the kids play. Her little girl is just a little older than Brady and Easton and she just had her third! I loved these pictures!I loved this picture! Kylee is such a good cousin and such a big help. I definitely think it is a good thing to have a girl first. She is awesome! The other day my friend Michelle planned a play date at the PG Firestation! Besides the fact that my kids are terrified of trucks, it was fun! Thank you to Steph who held Brady for the first 20 minutes while I held Easton. They did finally warm up until the firemen tried to stand next to them in the picture. The other kids loved it and the firemen were so nice. It was a lot of fun! We also took the kids to the park and went to lunch! I love these girls and I am so glad we are still friends! My friend Steph put on all the gear...she looked great!Last but not least, my gorgeous baby sister went to Prom last weekend. She is graduating and moving on. We will miss helping getting her all dolled up! She always has amazing dresses and looks beautiful. As you can see, this year was no exception! That is a wrap up of what we have been up to. Stay tuned our next few months could be exciting ones!!!

Cousins, Cousins, Cousins

The best part about being back in Utah is all the cousins we are around. Even though the boys miss Aria and Laila and still ask to go to their house every day, it has been fun getting to know their other cousins better!

Here are the triplets! Austin is teaching Brady and Easton how to wrestle and they are quickly having to learn how to be tougher. Last week they finally discovered a new game they don't fight at...they march around the house holding fake flowers, up and down the stairs over and over again chanting some jibberish. Hey, whatever keeps them happy!A bunch of Ryan's family was going up to Logan to see his brother and sister-n-law over conference weekend. I had to work so Ryan loaded up the boys and headed up by himself. I was sad to miss out but it was so nice to have a relaxing evening with no kids!!! Ryan did such a good job and took pictures of the boys with their cousins! They were only missing a few cousins! I love this picture! Thanks to everyone who helped Ryan out with the kids! They had a blast!

Today is my little brother Chad's birthday! Ladies he is single and oh so cute! Chad is an incredible person and smart as they come! My kids adore him and it has been so fun to be back around and be able to spend time with him, especially since he is probably headed back East this fall! Moving wrap up...

Then...and now...I still cannot believe almost 2 years have passed since we packed that truck and moved away. I have to say it was a wonderful experience and I learned so much from it. Here is a wrap up of our move home!

After we got the pantry cleaned out my mom put the kids in to take a picture. Brady was trying so hard to be brave and say cheese but he was terrified. After the photo shoot was over we caught Easton climbing back in a few times! The best aunties in the world and our cute cousins. Our favorite nursery leader on our last Sunday at church! Our wonderful EQ! We had so many men show up to help us load the truck. They had to rearrange things to get everything in but they got it done! Thank you Jared and Steve for helping on the Utah end (sorry I don't have any pics of them)My wonderful mother and sisters getting ready to drive home. They have all been so much help since we have been back. They are the best!(it was a little windy). My bestie in the whole world. We miss you like crazy! Days are just not the same without our made up errands, park dates, girls night outs, etc. The day I left I got together with a bunch of friends and went to lunch! It was lots of fun! I hate moving and I am so glad it is over. I am so grateful that my mom and sisters flew down to help me pack up and bring Brady and Easton back to Utah for us. It was so much easier to get stuff done without them. I cannot thank Aleena and Shea enough who were at my house every day packing, scrubbing, dusting, and vacuuming. You guys are the best and I could not have done it without you! It is good to be home but we miss our friends and the beautiful weather in Las Vegas.

Surprise!

For those of you who don't know, I am pregnant! I am 10 weeks and we could not be more excited! I went to the doctor this morning and thankfully he only heard 1heart beat. He is having me go in tomorrow for an ultrasound to confirm but we are pretty confident it is just 1! I am due right after Brady and Easton's birthday...we love October babies! I am feeling pretty good so that is always a plus! I can't wait to find out what it is!

On another note, Brady and Easton did great in their big boy beds! They slept through the night and Easton woke up at 7:15 and Brady woke up after 8:00. I am sure the napping thing will be a whole other story but we will give it a go. I am so glad they did so well!

Big Boy Beds!!

In order to get the boys beds on the truck Ryan took them apart down to toddler beds. We decided that since they were already apart we would just try to move them and see what happens.

We got their room all set up and took them up to bed. They were so excited and climbed right in. Everyone came in to give them kisses and we sang a song and had a prayer. Brady said to Ryan, "Go Dad, get out of my room!" It was so funny! I was thinking this was going to be easy so we turned off the light and the crying began. They wanted the light on. We finally got them to stop and shut the door and again, more crying. Easton was crying for Brady over and over! This happened 4 times and Ryan was ready to put the cribs back together. I convinced him to let me push their beds together and see if they did better that way. We shut the door and...silence. I thought they fell asleep right away but Ryan did have to go up and put Easton back in bed once, he was just walking around. A few minutes later my dad went up to see them and they were just laying in their beds staring at the ceiling. There were no tears and they did fall asleep. I went up there just barely to check on them and this is what I found!I am sure we are in for a long night...we will see!

Headed Home

I am sitting in my empty family room waiting for my carpet cleaner. Last night the truck was loaded and we are pretty much ready to go. I am so excited to be headed back to Utah and to be around family again but I am feeling an overwhelming amount of sadness at the same time. We have loved the time we have spent in Las Vegas and feel that we have grown so much as a family. We have made some of the best friends while here and have loved living close to Geoff and Aleena. It will be a hard day but I am excited for the next phase of life which means graduating and getting a job!!!! Pictures and more info to come when we get settled in our new home (AKA the Hill household).
