Stroller Advice

I am in the market for a new stroller/car seat combo. Since I did things in reverse, I own 3 double strollers and no singles. At first I was just going to get a sit and stand and have the boys share the back but when I took them to look at it they hated it, fell out, fought, and would not stay in it. I have decided to just get a single stroller. I am leaning towards this Chicco but I am not totally sold yet. Any advice from all you experts out there would be greatly appreciated! What do you have? Do love it, hate it, wish you had something different? I am hoping this one will last me through the rest of my kids and I won't have to do this again :)

On a side note...Congrats to my brother Geoff and his beautiful wife! They just found out they are having twins...a BOY and a GIRL! We are so excited for them! They will have 4 kids under 4! It is going to be crazy but fun! Two sets of twins (naturally) in 1 family...what are the chances? We are thrilled for them!

Hey sarah! Catherine and I have a Joovy Caboose Ultralight sit and stand stroller, it can hold a car seat and another can sit or stand, I bet both your boys could fit on the back of it. It is super light and easy to manuever. It's about 200 bucks, google it. It really is nice, Let me know what you think! -H

I am all about Peg Perego...I know it is more expensive but they last and keep their color amazingly! My sister and I used one car seat through four kids and the only reason we got a new one was because I found an amazing deal....that one is now on its third baby and still looks brand new...

Hey sarah! I'm obsessed with buying strollers. The one thing I have noticed through all of my research is that the chicco carseat is only compatible with chicco strollers. So if you get knocked up again, and want to switch back to your double, you're pretty stuck. I have the peg perego single and now I just bought the double. I LOVE THEM TOO! The single travel system collapes both directions instead of just folding in half, which makes it much smaller and it's super light and still sturdy.

Hi Sarah! I have the travel system you pictured and I've really liked it. It's pretty reasonably priced and I think the car seat still looks good now that I'm using it for Chayce. My only complaint is it's starting to get a little harder to get it in and out of the base...I think it's just because of use.

Wow, twins, oh wow... that is just... wow! I LOVE LOVE my chicco carseat... I love their stroller too. It is really reasonable as far as price, and it washes like a dream. The carseat is so easy to install, and the stroller isn't too big or annoying. Although you have had all those doubles so you can do big and annoying!

Congrats to Geoff no way that is so fun! I can't believe you guys both got twins that is awesome and if anyone can do it is you guys!

I have a graco travel system thing and I loved it. I even would run with mine and it was tough. It wasn't expensive either. You are going to love a single stroller and think it's the easiest thing in the world since your used to all the double stuff

hey sarah! congrats on your baby! im so excited for you! how are you feeling? i have the sit and stand by baby trend and i love it, but i also have a chicco single and I LOVE IT! we did alot of research and i have loved everything about it. except one thing is that it doesnt click in the front of grocery carts. i have to put him sideways in the back resting on the two ends. it fits in my sit and stand and my other double. LOVEit! good luck! we miss you!

I have the Peg perego and I love it. We actually bought our on ebay brand new from a store that overstocked. The final price for carseat and stroller was not that much more than a graco travel system. O also I think Peg perego can hold more wieght and height it last longer before the forward facing.

I had evenflo with McKell and I didn't like it. We have the sit and stand and I love it, my graco carseat fits on it and two kids can ride in the back, my kids are good to stay on though. Sydney is obsessed with riding in a stroller the lazy bum so it works for us. I also have the graco system on borrow and I really like it, it is my SIL and she's used it for 2 kids and it looks great. I know you'll make the right decision.

My suggestion...I enjoy things not being too heavy. So I went with purchasing the car seat separately from the stroller and buying the snap n go frame. Its very light weight and I love it. My friends all suggested it as well. Sorry we couldn't come by Monday night...I am still a little nervous about going out so soon with her. But hopefully in the next week or so we'll be coming out more. I can't believe it about Geoff and Alena!!! That is so great! Two sets of twin grandkids for your parents...I bet they're excited! Hope to see you, Ryan, the buddies and everyone else again soon!!!

Sorry, HATE the travel systems! They're to big and bulky. This time around I bought the chicco car seat and the Maclaren easy traveler stroller frame. Later when the baby grows out of his car seat I will buy a nice lightweight Maclaren stroller. I love them!

Phil and Teds all the way!!! It's a jogging stroller, can be used as a single or double and a carseat fits in it nicely. I love mine. PS, I can't believe your brother is having twins! Seriously what are the odds?@?!??! We need to hang out

I am OBSESSED with my Baby trend! it is BY FAR The best single stroller out there. IT's so easy to push you can push it with one finger! I am not kidding! I love it. and it's the one that you can put the car seat in it. you can also walk/run with it or use it at the mall etc. I LOVE LOVE IT and it's not that expensive! I give it a 10 for sure

Hey, Sarah! Just stalking your blog... anyway, I have this stroller, carseat combo and I like how narrow the stroller is, but the carseat is pretty heavy and I'm sure there's an easier stroller to unfold.. I like it, I just don't know that I would get it again if I had to choose. Congrats on three boys!!! How fun!
