Indecisive...

I am a very indecisive person. I am driving myself, my sister, and my husband insane over Brady and Easton's birthday presents. I know I am crazy. I have spent countless hours researching, putting things in my cart only to empty my cart, and asking for advice. I cannot decide between thisand this I do not want to waste money on a toy that my kids will not play with and I do not want to get them something I have to sit and help them with every time. Ryan says to give them one for their birthday and one for Christmas but I can't decide if I want them to have both. Do you think I am crazy too? I know some of you gave me advice on facebook but if you didn't and have an opinion please let me know! I have to decide before Renee kills me!

Get a Nintendo DS.
promise. It's so worth it.
We got a DS for colette for Christmas.
Kallin got a leapster.
The leapster has gone an collected dust. We eventually caved and bought Kallin a DS also.
I know the leapsters are "educational" so maybe as long as your boys dont see a DS they will be fine. But they take a little talent, you have to use the keys more. Most the young games for a DS are mostly all stylus. The younger kids take a while to get to learn the key pad.
So I suppose get the Tag, or get the DS. Seriously... the DS.
And they are amazing for travel.

We bought the TAG for Christmas last year, and I was super excited. My kids have NOT even touched it! They tried once and didn't like how long it took to read the page so they never use it. We have DS's and my kids love them...but I insisted on more educational games (at first) Good luck!

they are too young for the leapster. Emma and Cayden both love the TAG, but they also love to read. If they don't love reading they probly wont play with it. Emma has a leapster and she still isn't very good at playing it and can't quit figure it all out. I would say next year they will be ready for a leapster and don't get them a DS until they are at least 5 or 6, they aren't old enough to understand how to play it until then. Plus I like the learning games a lot better than all nintendo games when they are so young.

Well, my kids loved their leapsters, but your boys are definitely too young for it. It's hard for them. Although I just bought Christian the Mobigo and it's better because most of the games use the touch screen...not sure about a DS. Never tried the Tag because my kids aren't huge readers...Honestly, I would go for either the Mobigo or the TAG if they LOVE books for entertainment! Good Luck, and No youre not crazy...I did this same thing for Christians 2nd birthday...wasn't sure what to do, just needed a little advise!

Okay I am not big into electronic toys, so I don't have a recommendation either way. But are you set on one of these? Here are some of the things that Jackson that he loves:

A mini trampoline (a great way to get out energy in the winter)

Balls that you sit on and bounce

Mr. Potato Head

Bendaroos (although he wants me to play with him)

A car racing track (just a hot wheels one)

Hungry Hungry Hippos

Play dough with some kind of play dough set

Paint with water

Good luck!

We got Bela a leapster after she played with her cousins for a week straight in San Diego. She LOVED it. And its educational. The tag pen you have to roll it slowly over the words and my kids dont have the patience for that. I just like that it is educational plus bela LOVES to color and they can color pictures by numbers and do connect the dots on it. and right now at Super Walmart they are on sale. (always a plus) Miss you girl. I cant believe how big your boys are.
