Disneyland Here We Come...

If you are reading the title of this post and wondering why I have never mentioned going to Disneyland on my blog before it is because we planned this trip today. I am not kidding. On Sunday when we found out BYU would be playing in Anaheim I said to Ryan, "let's go!" I was sort of kidding but here we are 2 days later...we have tickets to the game, a hotel, and tickets to Disneyland! Those of you who know me know that I am not big on spur of the moment decisions, this is all Ryan. It is better this way though. Now I won't go out and spend tons of money getting ready to go because I don't have time and we will just have to get by with what we have. We will be back late Friday night. Hopefully it will go well, it could be quite the adventure. If all goes well we will be going back to Disneyland next weekend to meet up with my friend Whitney and her family (I will explain it all later) In the meantime, hope you are all having a great week!

Oh yeah...GO COUGARS!

When You're The Best Of Friends...

I had a wonderful weekend! Three of my best friends drove down to spend the weekend with me. Ryan took over the kids and we were off. We had big plans to shop, maybe go to a show, see some movies, and just hang out. Instead we spent 2 days SHOPPING, eating out, SHOPPING, and doing nothing else. We literally shopped until we dropped. It was pathetic but so much fun! We had bags, bags, and more bags. I found Easter outfits for Brady and Easton and a few cute things for myself. Steph and Jess are both pregnant and were such troopers with all the walking we had to do. Thank you for coming to visit me! I had such a great time and it was a nice and much needed break!

Headbangers Ball

Last night Ryan was hanging out with the kids while I was working. He started yelling for me to come downstairs and this is what I found. Easton started doing it after I took this video. Now when they hear music they start headbanging. They crack me up! I never know what Ryan is teaching them while I am working.

Happy Birthday Geoff!

Happy Birthday to my brother Geoff. I have so many memories with Goeff and loved growing up so close. Geoff was the one who taught me to drive (I almost killed us both) and the one that always kept me laughing (and crying). It is thanks to him that Ryan and I are married and that we moved to Nevada! He is a wonderful brother, friend, and a fabulous father to his darling little girls! I hope you have a wonderful birthday Geoff! We love you!

As Promised...

Here are my favorite pictures from the photo shoot. They were not being very cooperative so that is why they have crackers in a few of these pictures but I still think they are cute! Life doesn't get any better than this. These boys are the love of my life! I am so lucky to have them BOTH, they make me SMILE every day! I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I have...I have looked at them 100 times! Thank you to my wonderful personal photographer and mother! We love you!

What A Great Surprise!

When I got home on Thursday this was sitting in my garage all set up and ready to go! What a great hubby I have. I admit I have to be careful about what I say because if I say I want something Ryan will usually get it for me! He is so sweet!

When we were debating whether or not to get the stroller I asked Ryan if he would ever use it and he kind of laughed and said no. The other day I was working and Ryan came upstairs and put on his running clothes. I asked him what he was doing (since he was in charge of the boys) and he said going running with the boys. They were gone for over an hour and when they came back they were both asleep. Ryan said they loved it! I haven't even used it yet but I can't wait! Thanks for the recommendation Rach! We are now the proud owners of 3 double strollers!

We Love Utah!

We had so much fun in Utah! Here is a not so quick update of what we did. WARNING: this is a long post with lots of pictures!

On Sunday we went to the McGiven's for dinner. It was so fun for the boys to see all their cousins and to hang out! It took them a minute to warm up but once they saw all the kids running downstairs and laughing they followed them down and stayed there for a long time. I went down to take pictures and they were so happy. It was so cute! Here is Easton with his cousin Austin. Here are Brady and Easton with their darling cousins Sydney and Ireland!
We decided with nice weather coming to Las Vegas it was time to invest in some sandals for the boys. My mom and I headed to the mall and got them some Keen sandals. They love them! Here they are in their new shoes looking at the fish at Nordstrom! My mom gave Brady and Easton a haircut. When she told me she wanted to put them in the bathtub to do it I about had a heart attack because I thought she was going to use the clippers. I was glad when she told me she wanted to do it with scissors :)
We went to a book party at Whit's house! I ordered some new books and Brady and Easton read and played with the books and River! The next morning we went back and helped Cathy look through all her reciepts. Our best friend River sat on the chair watching and pointing saying "TWINS" that is what he always calls them. It is so cute! We also played with Grandpa who was so proud whenever he could get Easton to give him a hug As you can see we had a wonderful trip! We did many more things like make carmelitas with Grandma Great, went to IKEA, and ate at our favorite places that we miss. We also had a photo shoot with our favorite photographer (my mom) which I will post pictures of later. Thank you to everyone who made our trip so great, especially to Grandma and Grandpa for letting us stay at their house and make messes! We already miss you all!

On the way home we stopped in St. George where we met our daddy (who we had not seen in 10 days) We were so excited! We went to a park to let the boys run around and we had to change them from long pants and long sleeved shirts to t-shirts and shorts! It was so nice! We are glad we came back to such great weather!
