Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is my Daddy's birthday! I have the best dad in the whole world. A few weeks ago I had someone ask me if my dad was close to one of my siblings. I said "yes, but my dad is close to all 7 of his children." That is the truth. He loves his children and he would do anything for us. I think he would consider all 7 of us some of his best friends! My dad is such a wonderful man. He is loved by everyone that knows him and he knows everyone! Everywhere I go there is someone who has a grandpa, a mom, a sister, etc that my dad took care of in the hospital and they all "LOVE DR. HILL." My dad has always been there for me when I needed him. He has always supported me in everything I wanted to do and paid for it too :) I am so lucky to have such a wonderful dad! I love you daddy and I hope you have a great birthday! My sister-n-law Michelle is at the hospital in labor! They did not find out the sex of this baby so we cannot wait until it is born to find out what it is!!!! Yeah!

Mother's Day Surprise!

Everyone should watch this...I promise it is worth your time! These twin boys are my little sister Abbey's good friends. They both served missions - one in Guatemala and the other in Mexico. Only one twin was supposed to come home the day before Mother's Day but with the help of their dad and both Mission Presidents they arranged to meet up in Dallas and surprise their mom by both getting off the plane in SLC! You can tell when the mom sees the one who is not supposed to be there. It is a tear jerker for sure! Just think, this could be me in 18 years!

Touchdown!

Last week we bought Brady and Easton their first basketball hoop and they have loved it! Every morning they come downstairs, get their balls, and start shooting baskets. On Sunday night Ryan taught them how to put their arms in the air and say "touchdown" after they made a basket. Easton wouldn't really do it but Brady did it over and over! It was so cute and kept us entertained all night!
Sorry about our annoying commentary. Oh yeah, if you listen closely at the end when Easton bends over he lets out a very loud toot...that is why I hurried and turned off the camera...we were laughing so hard!

A Camping We Will Go (sort of)...

Monday it was 107 degrees here and this weekend it dropped to the 60s and rained. Geoff and Aleena decided it would be a great weekend to go camping! We don't have a tent or any camping gear so we decided we would go up to hang out and come home and sleep in our own beds. It was a fun 2 days! We went up Friday afternoon and had delicious soup made in the dutch oven, rolls, and peach cobbler. We finished off the night with smores! We drove home and slept and I spent Saturday morning working and then we headed back up. That night we had BBQ chicken and pork, creamy potatoes, corn on the cob, cornbread, and chocolate cake. Don't worry, Aleena and her sister never fail us in the food department...they are awesome cooks! We basically let the boys run around, ate, and talked. It was a lot of fun! The people right next to us were total red necks and kept us pretty entertained too! Thanks for inviting us Geoff and Aleena. Hopefully we will invest in some camping gear soon and do it again!
Aria was a natural camper. She was rolling in the dirt! This is Monica's little boy Zack, he is such a cute kid!Geoff and his girls!Brady sat in this chair and stared at the fire forever. He thought it was pretty cool! Easton and Daddy!

I Still Love This Kid!!!!!

I was a little disappointed to hear that David Cook won. I really do think he is great but I think David A. is better. Sorry but last night when they had them singing together I think it was obvious that David A. has a better voice. I realize he is not the best interviewer and does not really portray star power but when he is on stage and singing he is so good! I will be buying his CD! I have listened to him singing "Too Late To Apologize" about 5 times...it was so good! Congratulations David Cook!

On a side note my favorite show starts tonight! So You Think You Can Dance! I can't wait to watch all summer long and be amazed at these talented dancers!

Who Will Be The Next American Idol?

I think that David A was hands down the best tonight. He did such a great job! I have loved the kid from the start and I think tonight he finished it off. I know David C. has a lot of fans but I am confident that our Utah boy is going to pull this one out. I watched a clip from Jay Leno earlier with Simon and he said that he wanted David Cook to win but I don't think that is the case anymore. What do you think?

"Give Me The Rock!"

Brady and Easton love to "give the rock" They walk around the room and give it to everyone over and over and over. Lately they have been giving the rock to each other. I love these boys, they crack me up!
