Park Dates

We had lots of park dates this week! We are so lucky to have friends and family who we love to get together with and have kept us very busy while we have been here.

On Tuesday I met a bunch of my friends from high school and my best friend from College at a neat park in Alpine! It was so fun to let all our kids play together and to chat with my friends.Savvy, Addie, Peyton, Easton, Brady, Brooklyn, Hallie.Emma and Cayden weren't in the first round but they are so cute!Easton, Brady, Peyton, and Addie. These 4 were all born within 6 months of each other. It is fun to watch them interact! They loved looking at the horses!.Jessica, Christina, Amber, Me, Steph and Lindsay. Thanks for getting together...it was so much fun!

On Friday I went to the park with all my cousins and their kids. It was fun as well!Easton, Brady, Hudson, Austin. These 4 are only 5 weeks apart! Swinging away!Carter, Avery, Maya, Hudson, Griffin, Brady, Austin, Easton, Nick.Such cute boys!Cousins! Top: Heather, Renee, Ali. Bottom: Nina, Mari, Jenny, Abbey, Me! We were also able to get together with a bunch of Ryan's friends at the park. He was in Vegas but I took the boys anyway to play and see their friends. I love all these people and it was fun to see some who I haven't seen in a while. The kids actually sat pretty well for this picture, there are 13 pictured there...WOW!

It was a great week! The weather was perfect for the park. The boys even got a little sunburned. I love Utah in the fall!

Good Times!

We are still enjoying our time here in Utah! The weather is perfect, the mountains are beautiful and the company is great! The only thing missing is our sweet husband/daddy. We miss you Ryan!

I was able to get together with some of my friends and go to dinner last week. It was so fun to have a peaceful meal and catch up! I love these girls!Today we celebrated Nick's 5th birthday! I love this kid to death. He is so cute and so sweet! He always tells me he loves me and misses me. Happy Birthday on Tuesday buddy! We had corn for dinner and Brady and Easton were obsessed. They threw a fit until I let them have their own and then they walked around with it for over an hour and ate the whole thing. They crack me up. Kelsey is the best aunt! She took all the kids upstairs and played the Wii with them. They all gathered around the TV and the little kids cheered on the big kids while they played. It was hilarious. We could hear them yelling from downstairs! (notice Brady still has his corn)We had cupcakes for dessert and the boys loved eating them together outside! Easton was too busy enjoying his to look at the camera!

What's Worse Than Twins?

Triplets!!!! We gave the 3 boys a bath together this morning and forgot to let out the water. They were playing and having fun together but we noticed it was really quiet. I found them in my parents bathroom where they had made a huge mess. They filled the tub up with more water and threw everything around the tub in. This included change, pens, nail clippers, papers, etc. They thought they were pretty funny! It is so fun to have these boys so close in age. They have had so much fun together this trip and I am excited for them to grow up together!

We Made It!!!

Thanks to these two things our flight was a success! We were able to take a whole row and stick Brady and Easton between us. We put the lap top on the tray and turned on Barney. The flight attendant gave them each apple juice with a straw and some pretzels. They were thrilled! They did not like it at all when we had to turn off the lap top but we whipped out their doodle pros and they played with them until we landed. It was a very successful flight!

I am so happy to be in Utah! The weather is perfect and the mountains are beautiful! I love Utah in the fall! I was able to spend the afternoon with my sisters and now Ryan is golfing with his best friend. Tonight we will be going to watch Kelsey cheer at the homecoming game! Ryan has tickets to the BYU vs. UCLA game tomorrow and then we will be sending Kelsey off to homecoming tomorrow night! Exciting times!

Leaving on a Jet Plane!

We are so excited!!! On Friday morning bright and early we will be boarding this... and flying here. We decided we were sick of driving back and forth and putting all the miles on our car and it was actually cheaper to fly. Brady and Easton are coming up on their 2nd birthday so we decided to take advantage of them flying free while we still can.

I am getting a little nervous. I realize that this flight is only 1 hour and 15 minutes but believe me, that is a long time for my 2 kids to sit still. The only thing I have to compare it to is sacrament meeting and my kids are awful there so I am kind of in panic mode. They are not easily entertained unless they are running back and forth between here and there. I know a lot of you have flown with small children hundreds of times but this is our first so any suggestions would be appreciated.

We will be in Utah for the next couple of weeks (at least the boys and I will be). We have a lot of fun things planned so I will keep my blog updated with all the fun! We hope to see a lot of you while we are there!

Thanks and wish us luck!
