My New Addiction!

My friend Shea got me into coupon shopping a couple of months ago and I have been hooked since. It is so addicting and so fun! The other night we had dinner and then left the kiddos with their dads to enjoy Monday Night Football together. We had a great shopping night. I spent about $6.00 total on all of this!!! What did I get?- 8 tubes of toothpaste (stocking up for a Christmas project)
- 5 sticks of deodarant (same thing)
- Batteries
- Face lotion
- 4 Glade candles
- Windex wipes
- 2 multi surface cleaners
- Zantrex energy shots

Yep, that is why I am addicted!

Sarah, that is awesome!

I am a coupon queen. Couponing is the most affordable way to build up our 1 year supply and also be able to help out in our communities.

When we are obedient to the counsel of the prophets, then Heavenly Father helps us find a way, even on a limited income.

GOOD JOB and have the boys give you a High Five from Aunt Holley!

Love you all! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

So, I saw something like this on another blog - do you just search the papers/internet for coupons, or is there an easier way? ALSO, call when you're up here so we can get together.

Are you kidding me?? That is awesome! You need to teach me how to do this. I'm serious. Help the poor :) When are you guys going home for Christmas?

WOW! You'll have to share your secrets. I am now officially ticked because I paid about 5 bucks on just AA batteries last night for our trip...that I should be packing for. You go girl!!

Sarah, you are such a great example. There are a couple of great websites that help out with the couponing thing, one is savvyshopperdeals.com and the other is pinchingyourpennies.com. They both basically tell you what is on sale in each store and what the price will be with a coupon, there are some amazing deals out there. I put all that info, because some of your other comments asked. Utah is big on this, so sometimes you go to a store to get the deal and they are out of the item. The savvy shopper does a seminar every once in a while, so if your friends are interested have them go to her site and sign up, it's extremely helpful.
