We made it...

We did it! The kids were so good. I am so lucky to have such good babies. We stopped in St. George and visited with Sunny and Luke Lyman. They were so nice to let me stop and feed the boys at their house. They had fun playing with Luke's toys and Luke had fun taking everything out of my diaper bag. It made the trip so much more bearable. After they had burned some energy I put them back in the car and headed out. They slept all the way to Nephi and then were great all the way here.

We were greeted by all my neices and nephews hugging me and yelling Happy Birthday! It was a good welcome. We ordered cafe rio for dinner and took these cute pictures with all the grandkids (except for the one we are waiting on) Whitney brought River over for a visit and that was fun as always. Abbey and I went on our traditional DP run and stayed up and chatted with Michelle and Chad.

It has been a good day. We look forward to spending time with the family.

Gymboree!

So tonight we went with some friends to Gymboree. It was really fun! It is owned by the store but it is a play group type thing. They have all these fun activities and songs they sing and at the end they give them stamps on their hands, feet and belly! We went with friends who have older kids so Brady and Easton mostly just watched but they still had fun and just crawled around. They told us that they have a group just for twins. I think it might be fun to join but I think I will wait until they are a little bit older, at least walking. After that we went to Metro Pizza and had yummy pizza. The boys had had it by the end and fell asleep in the car on the way home.

I am a little nervous about the drive tomorrow but I am hoping for the best. We are stopping in St. George at our friends house, Nick and Sunny Lyman, to let the kids have a break, get them fed and change their diapers. I am hoping that will help break it up.

Anyway, I am excited to see my family tomorrow. It will be fun!

I was going to take pictures of our friends cute kids but our camera battery died...soon I will. They are darling!

Mixed up...

So this morning I heard one of my babies on the monitor and went in to get them. The noise was coming from Easton's crib but when I picked up the baby I thought to myself, "this is not Easton." I carried him into our bedroom and said to Ryan, "who am I holding?" He hesitated and said Brady and then looked for a minute more and said, "yeah that is Brady." Oh my gosh, I totally mixed up my children last night and put them in the wrong crib. I never do that. Ryan worked all day yesterday and didn't get home until midnight, it was obviously a long day. I can't believe I did that. We did confuse them once when they were little in the middle of the night but for the most part we have been pretty good. Now when people ask me if I ever get them mixed up, which is a common question, I will have to answer YES!

Tag I'm It...

7 Random Things About Me...

1. Much to Ryan's dismay, I drink way more Dr. Pepper than I should and not enough water (I have been better since being in Vegas)

2. I have a very hard time making decisions about anything on my own. I am always asking for second opinions, usually from my mom or one of my sisters.

3. I wait until my gas light has been on for days to fill up my car. I know one day I am going to run out on the freeway in 115 degree weather with both my kids in the car and Ryan will be in class.

4. I love US Weekly the magazine and waste money on it. I also enjoy watching E News, Entertainment Tonight, and all those dumb celebrity news shows. Pathetic I know!

5. I love going shopping! I love it for myself, my kids, my husband, my mom, my sisters, I don't care I just love to do it. Even if I don't buy anything I just love to go! It is a bad habit because lets be honest, I usually end up buying something. In fact, I am on my way to the mall right now but just to get my friend a birthday present!

6. I am a night owl but a horrible morning person. I could stay up all night long but have a hard time waking up too early. Not too good when you have kids.

7. I do not wear any jewlery besides my wedding ring. I don't know why, I just don't. My sisters are always shopping for jewlery to wear with their outfits and have matching earrings and necklaces. I try to buy it for them for their birthdays or Christmas but I don't even know what is cute because I never wear it.

Tim and Faith!

Okay so we had the most random day today. Ryan's work had called him and asked if he could help out at a convention they were having in Vegas. We had plans but decided we couldn't turn down the money and cancelled. We decided to go to lunch with some friends (Amy and Chris) we met a few days ago (2 to be exact)for a fun activity. We were sitting there talking and Amy asked me what kind of music I listened to. I told her country and it ended up we loved all the same people and bands. I told her I love Tim and Faith! She got all excited and said she heard they were coming in concert in January. I told her that I had seen on tv that they were coming August 4. All of the sudden Ryan was like, "it is August 4!" The next thing I know she is on her cell phone calling MGM. She got off the phone a minute later and said, "okay they have 4 tickets and we are going." About 15 minutes later after much dilemma, texting Abbey for support and hyperventilation, they had us talked into it. We left lunch with 2 tickets for a concert that started in 4 hours and no babysitter. Aleena (my sister-n-law) has a sister that lives close to us so I decided since she was the only person I knew I would call her. She said YES and we were set. I rushed home and started to work and Ryan took off to go work for a few hours.

I went and dropped the kids off and Chris and Amy came and picked me up. We met Ryan there just in time to grab a hot dog and watch the pre show. We could not have asked for better seats, they were awesome! The stage was a circle and they made good use of it. We were just a few rows up and had a perfect view of every part of the stage.

The moment finally came...Tim and Faith appeared on the stage TOGETHER singing none other than one of my current favorite songs "Chasing Cars" (it is not their song but it was so good!) They sang a few others and then Faith took to the stage. She was amazing...beautiful and very entertaining with a voice to die for! Tim came back and they sang a few more together and then it was Timmy's turn. He is fabulous...I love him! He did a great job, he always does. He is a very good performer/entertainer. And then of course, they closed singing together. It was so ROMANTIC! They even kissed at the end of It's Your Love and I Need You! They sang for about 3 hours and I could have sat there for at least another 3!

All the dilemma, hyperventilation, arguing, and the fact that I am getting absolutely no birthday presents was worth it. They are so good and it was so fun to see them in concert together! We loved every second of it and are so glad we went. It is now 2:00 a.m. and I am exhausted. My kids were perfect angels as they usually are and didn't even flinch when we moved them from bed to the car and back to bed again! A special thanks to Monica and Jeff for watching our kids so we could go and to Chris and Amy for making us go!

Crawling is overrated...

So I decided that this crawling thing is totally overrated. Yesterday I was doing the dishes and all of the sudden I could hear Easton behind me. I turned around and he had crawled onto the tile and was licking the floor. He looked like a dog. I was about to mop it so it was not exactly clean and he was just licking and laughing and happy as could be. I thought it was disgusting but I decided I had to take a picture before I moved him so I could show Ryan what his son was doing.

New Shoes!

So we bought Brady and Easton some flip flops the other day. I have never done the shoe thing with them because I have never felt the need. I put them on the for the first time and they did not know what to do with themselves, they were so confused. They kept looking at me like I had done something to wrong them and they wanted me to save them. It was so funny. At first they tried to eat them and then they starting kicking their feet against eachother to try to get them off. I left them on for a while thinking they would get used to it and they never did. They just stared at them, ate them and tried to kick them off the whole time. I had fun watching their confusion. They make me laugh!

Oh by the way, if you can see in a few of these pictures Brady is making a really cheesy face. I can't get him to smile normal anymore. He squints his face like that and then makes this panting noise. It is really funny but I have no idea where he gets it from. Hopefully he will grow out of it because he looks really funny when he does it. For now we are enjoying the entertainment it brings us!
