More Weekend Fun!
On Saturady Geoff came over to watch the BYU game and we hung out while I addressed Christmas cards. Ryan was studying and Aleena was writing a talk. We all ended up here later that afternoon and decided we were going to go to Lake Las Vegas to get something to eat and see the gingerbread houses that were on display. We piled in the van and drove out there. I have to say we were a little disappointed when we got there and the Christmas tree was not even lit up. We walked around to find somewhere to eat but it was all a little too pricy for us. We decided we would just look at the gingerbread houses quick and then go get something to eat. We couldn't figure out where to go so Geoff and Ryan decided to run into the Ritz Carlton and ask. They came out laughing because they were in jeans and sweatshirts and everyone around them were in formals and suits. We figured out where to go and found about 6 gingerbread houses. They were neat but I don't know if it was worth the hassel of driving out there. Oh well!
We ended up ordering pizza and coming back to our house to watch the Heisman Trophy thing...how exciting! It actually was a pretty fun day and once again we were so glad we had that van we could pile in and all go together!
